Rockschool, The International Rock Music Exam Board, offers Graded Music Exams in the principal rock instruments and Diplomas in Teaching and Performance.

Rockschool produces and examines unique music qualifications that are taught by independent teachers in schools, colleges and music centres all over the world. Rockschool music qualifications are practical, flexible and fun and are open to musicians of all ages and abilities.

Rockschool HK Ltd, an independent company set up in 2011 is the representative of the International Rockschool Examination Board in Hong Kong. Rockschool HK Ltd will be responsible for all Rockschool examinations starting 2012, including Graded Music Exams and Performance Certificates for Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano / Keyboards and Vocals as well as Performance and Teaching Diplomas. As a No.1 global rock music examination board,  all Rockschool’s qualifications are accredited in the UK by both Ofqual and SQA. By achieving a Rockschool grade, candidates have a qualification and measure of achievement recognized worldwide.

Accreditation

The qualifications regulators of England, (Ofqual) Wales, (DfES) and Northern Ireland (CCEA) accredit Rockschool Graded Music Exams, Entry Level (Debut) to Grade 8 plus the Teaching and Performance Diplomas. The qualifications regulator of Scotland (SQA Accreditation) accredit Rockschool Graded Music Exams, Grades 1 to 8.
